Richard B. Welch
President and CEO

Mr. Welch is a founder of Best Practices Medical Partners LLC (BPMP), Best Practices Insurance Services, LLC (BPIS) d.b.a. AMS Management Group and Applied Medico-legal Solutions Risk Retention Group, Inc. (AMS RRG). He currently serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of both AMS RRG and AMS Management Group, and is an owner and President of Global Stage Limited, a member of Lloyd's of London.

As founder President and CEO of AMS RRG, Mr. Welch has led the company since inception for the last 20 years.  Prior to his current position, he served in a range of executive roles within the healthcare industry. Mr. Welch has served on the boards of numerous charitable and professional healthcare organizations including: Broward Center for the Performing Arts Foundation Board as Chairman, Duke Fuqua School of Business Healthcare Alumni Advisory Board, Seminole Boosters, Inc. Board of Directors and YPO.

Mr. Welch holds a degree in Business Management from Florida State University and a Master’s Degree from Duke University.
